Ioan Durnescu, author of the book „Groupwork: Strategies and Tools for Engaging with Justice Involved Individuals” is a professor at the Faculty of Sociology and Social Work at the University of Bucharest, specializing in probation and criminal justice. He is recognized for his significant contributions in the field of probation, being editor and co-editor of several leading papers and journals, such as „Probation in Europe” and „European Journal of Probation”. Durnescu is also a promoter of criminal justice reforms, working with professionals to facilitate the social reintegration of people involved in the justice system.
