Dr. Sue Johnson, a psychologist specializing in couples therapy, has been passionate since childhood about relationships and especially about understanding the mechanisms underlying them.

Part of the conclusions of his research can be found in this book in which he tries to decipher for everyone the new science of love and what it means to be loved, given that romantic love was a neglected field of psychology, sociology and anthropology until the early 90s.

„The word (editor's note: love) derives from the Latin sentire, which means „to perceive, feel or know”, but also „to find one's way”. That is why I have called this book The Meaning of Love. It is meant to help you find your way to a fulfilling and lasting love.”
