Over 100 participants attended the launch of the first three volumes of ORICUM™, the publishing project that transforms stories into authority, connections, and impact

Bucharest, August 2026 — The first three volumes of ORICUM™, the book series created by Andreea Elena Halikias, which explores the decisions people make before any guarantees exist, were launched on August 21, in the Carol I Hall of the Bucharest Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in the presence of over 100 attendees.

The three volumes bring together 61 contributors from various fields—entrepreneurs, authors, psychologists, consultants, leaders, creators, and professionals—who answered the same questions about courage, obstacles, difficult choices, intuition, and the moments when they moved forward without yet knowing if their decision would be the right one.

We’re used to hearing stories after we already know how they ended. We see the person who took a risk and succeeded, or the person who failed, learned something, and—in hindsight—it all seems to have made sense. ORICUM™ is about the moment before that. It’s about what you do when you don’t yet have the ending to confirm that you made the right choice.

61 stories, but not 61 islands

ORICUM™ does not function like a traditional anthology.

Each contributor has a personalized edition of the book, in which their interview appears first and their identity is incorporated into the book. When they give it as a gift, recommend it, or share it within their own community, the stories of the other contributors circulate along with their own.

This mechanism was named The Flow of Multiplying Goodness™.

We didn’t just want to tell stories. We wanted to bring them to life. When one person grows, they can lift others up without losing any of their own光芒. That’s ORICUM™.

On the evening of the launch, attendees also received special ORICUM™ publications, in which contributors were featured through profiles, descriptions, and QR codes linking to their interviews.

An evening when courage was „put to the test”

One of the highlights of the gala was the ceremony honoring the contributors.

While in school, people are usually called to the front of the class to show that they know the correct answer, at ORICUM™ they were called to the front for a different reason: for the decisions they made when they didn’t yet know the correct answer.

I would love to live in a world where our children are called up to the blackboard because they had the courage to trust their instincts, their confidence, and their enthusiasm—even when they didn’t receive validation from those around them.

Trust, in fact, became one of the natural themes of the series. Many of the contributors joined the project before knowing exactly what the final result would look like, and one of the messages shared on stage summed up this experience:

„Trust is also an act of courage.”

A place with over a century of history

The launch took place in the Carol I Auditorium, in a building constructed between 1907 and 1911 for the Bucharest Chamber of Commerce.

Cristina Șerbănescu, a representative of the Bucharest Chamber of Commerce and Industry, presented the history of the site to the guests.

In this very room, more than a century ago, Queen Elizabeth presided over the meetings of a charitable organization, and in 1913, the peace treaty that ended the Second Balkan War was signed here.

Members of the Royal Family attended the cornerstone-laying ceremony, and the document signed at that time is still preserved today in a steel cylinder beneath the building.

The setting lent a special symbolism to an evening centered on courage, community, and the idea that goodness can be passed on.

A model designed for different communities and markets

One of the three volumes released was produced in collaboration with the Upcelerator community, led by Adriana Radu.

ORICUM™ was designed from the outset as a replicable and franchisable model that can be applied in different communities, organizations, and local markets, while maintaining the same mechanism: drawing out people’s stories and expertise, transforming them into editorial assets, and connecting them within a system where one person’s visibility can amplify the visibility of others.

The project is therefore not limited to publishing a book, but functions as a system for personal branding, establishing authority, and amplifying impact.

Publishing Infrastructure: Meleti.ro

The entire publication and distribution process is supported by Meleti.ro, the marketplace and infrastructure created by Andreea Elena Halikias for self-published authors.

Through Meleti, authors and contributors can have their own editions, their own profile pages, and their own sales and distribution system, without ORICUM™ functioning as a publishing model open to anyone. Editorial selection and production are part of the system.

Behind the project are more than 12 years of experience in the publishing industry and more than 1,345 authors with whom Andreea Elena Halikias has collaborated directly on projects involving publishing, marketing, search engine optimization, and monetization.

Throughout his career, the projects and systems he has developed in collaboration with authors, creators, and clients have helped generate over $4 million.

„We don’t have books for sale tonight. We have courage for sale.”

The gala featured networking, an awards ceremony, a private tour of the building, and a series of elements centered around the themes of courage and lightness.

In her opening remarks, Andreea Elena Halikias summed up the evening in a single sentence:

We don't have any books for sale tonight. We have courage for sale.

ORICUM™ continues through contributors’ curated editions, by sharing stories, and through new volumes and communities built around the same principle:

From trust to trust. From person to person. Goodness multiplies.
